Emma is a professional equestrian photographer based in the Lake District. She exclusively works as a fine art equestrian photographer and travels the north of England and borders of Scotland to photograph her clients.
She gained her Master Craftsman in Equine Photography in the summer 2021, as well as winning Equine Image of the Year and Overall Image of the Year, with The Guild of Photographers.
An experienced equestrian photographer, Emma started in the 1990’s working as a freelance photographer for a number of equestrian publications honing her craft using film cameras Pentax K100 and ME Super’s. Combined with the emergence of the internet and software packages such as Photoshop, the last twenty years she’s been developing both her photography and digital skills, to create classic and timeless works of equestrian art.
Emma is a member/ambassador with the Guild of Photographers and Royal Photographic Society. Her work has been exhibited in the Design Museum in London and featured in Horse and Hound, Country Life, Cumbria and Lancashire Life and The Field Magazines.
